Look for this box in grocery stores now! They have been out for a month or so now...but I thought that it was worth mentioning! You can purchase this box of cereal and mail in the rebate form found on this specially marked box to get a check back for the full purchase price!Most of the rebates offered are for trying new products! Here are a few places that you can find rebates to help you out...
- Product Packages
- TearPads located on shelves with products
- Coupon Inserts (usually next to coupons for that product)
- Online (through various blog sites)
I will try to add rebates as I find them! They are definitely a big part of how I get things for free! I have been sending in for rebates for a while now!
Basically I purchased my first few rebate items (with coupons) and received the checks in the mail! Generally they do take around 4-6 weeks to be mailed to you. I cash my checks in once per month and use that money to purchase more rebate items! After paying out of pocket the first few times... to the tune of around $30 or so, I no longer pay for these items! It's like getting them for free! (This style of shopping can be closely compared to Rite Aid's Single Check Rebate program...only taking more discipline collecting UPC's, saving receipts, and mailing the offers out!
I have envelopes that I separate my rebates in...one is for current rebate deals, one is for rebates that I have purchased but not sent out yet (need to cut UPC or copy receipt, etc) and one is for completed rebate deals! Once I receive the check for the item...I throw the completed deal copy out!
