Publix Deals for the week of 9/24-9/30 Plus some great tips and notices!

I am a little behind this week! For the Publix post I am just going to refer you to 2 other sites this week! I will come back in over the next few days and add updates to this post of deals that I found Saturday while shopping! My little one has been sick so the blog was put on hold for a couple of days (I try to keep myself a week ahead and hopefully will be back on track by the end of this week!

This is an awesome week! Saturday I purchase over $260 worth of groceries for $44. I will share my shopping trip with you later this week! Be sure to come back to take a look at all of the goodies I purchased!

TIP: It is being reported that Georgia's penny item of the week is a box of Publix brand saltine crackers. This is not 100% guaranteed and can vary from region to region.

(For the newbies: For our area, Publix releases a new copy of the weekly ad in the Atlanta Journal Constitution. This ad will contain a coupon, usually found on the front page, for a mystery item that you can get for 1 cent. This item will vary from week to week and can be anything from peanut butter to a re-usable grocery bag or a 1/2 gallon of milk! If you shop on Sunday or Monday ONLY you can use this coupon when you purchase $10 or more worth of groceries! 99% of the time this add will only be released in the AJC, very rarely will you see the coupon in the weekly ads that are located up front!)

NOTICE: I found 2 more coupon books that were released on Saturday! Be on the look-out! I will post a picture of them along with the coupons they contain within the next few days!

Fiddledeedee is awesome for the match-ups...however, some of her sale prices for her region are a little bit higher than our area store here in town. For the correct prices please refer to your local weekly ad or the online weekly ad here!

Hotcouponworld is a little harder to visualize you can go here to check out Publix deals! They give prices and match-ups but not the percentage saved! They also include the coupon match-ups for tearpad, blinkies, and other resources. If you don't have any of those just be sure to look for the SS = smartsource RP=Red Plum P&G = Proctor and Gamble V = Vlassis, if you only use the newspaper inserts!

Rest assured...anytime you match up 2 coupons with a Publix BOGO sale...you should buy it! It will be CHEAP!

As a rule of thumb, if an item is more than 50% off with the sale and coupon it is worth buying (These sales along with the coupons usually equate to a rock bottom sale price at this store...meaning this is the cheapest they will put it on sale)!

There are some items that will never be this cheap! Some of those include diapers, wipes, and other baby items along with things like toilet paper and paper towels! Most of the time if you can get to about 25-30% off on those...you are getting a good deal!

Sorry about not posting myself this week but I should be back on track for next week! My little one is much better now!
