What are you Thankful for?

I just wanted to share with everyone that Thanksgiving will be extra special for me this year!

Last Thanksgiving my grandmother spent the holiday in the Intensive Care Unit at her local hospital. We almost lost her due to Septicemia. A fairly routine check of her colon, turned into a deathly battle of infection! She spent weeks in the hospital and months recovering afterwards!

Three surgeries later...By the miracle of God, whom decided that it wasn't her time to leave us, she will celebrate a year's passing on December the 13th (the day she was released from the hospital)!

So, this year I am most thankful for having my grandmother with us...completely healthy and ready divvy out cooking tasks to all of us! Back to her normal self again!
