Where's The Beef? Who has meat on sale this week?

Welcome back to my "Where's the Beef?" series.

Each week I will post the meat sales at Publix, Ingles, and Kroger and here are this weeks sales...

Kroger:
Tyson Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts are $1.99/lb
Tyson Split Chicken Breasts are .99/lb

Tip:Stock up on either one but my suggestion would be to buy the Split Chicken Breasts at a lower cost and cut the meat off yourself! SAVINGS? You are paying $1 more per pound to have the convenience of a skinless boneless piece!

Ingles:
***UPDATE***Our local store in Cartersville, GA is selling them for $1.98/lb (which is still a good deal but not as great as .98/lb) You may want to call your local store before making a special trip for them!

Boneless Skinless Chicken Tenders are .98/lb (Do I need to say more? Stock up on this one...it doesn't happen often!)
Tip: One of my family favorites is to pan fry these babies in a little olive oil and seasonings to make a great meat dish or to go on top of salads! If you bake these smaller pieces you will want to watch out for their cook time...they dry out fast!

Publix:
Pork Spare Ribs are $1.99/lb
Ground Chuck is $1.99/lb (are we ever going to see .99/lb again? Doubt it, but wishful thinking right!)
Chuck Roasts are $2.99/lb
Boston Butt Roasts are $1.79/lb

Tip: Buy a couple of the Boston Butt Roasts and cook both at the same time! You can serve Roast w/ veggies, make BBQ (just pull it into shreds and add your favorite BBQ sauce) and have Roast sandwiches for leftovers! This is a great meat to buy and cook all at once to limit your time in the kitchen...

Be sure to check out my "Discounted Meat 101" article here if you haven't had the chance to read it!
