I took my banana boat coupons to the register with my product and they said as the price was 97 cents and the coupon was $1.00 i couldn't use it, they could not adjust the value of the coupon or charge me more for the product this was from the cashier trainers at the front of the store. and i can not find that size any where else (any suggestions to find it or whom else to talk to at target)
oh and they have the Johnsons body care product in the travel size also it to was under the $1.00 coupon i have.
very frustrating.

My local store also cannot adjust the coupons. It is a regular Target store. I have a SuperTarget about 15 minutes away and they will adjust the coupons.
I tried to find out why the SuperTargets can adjust and the regular stores cannot but came up empty handed. No one could give me a straight answer...even corporate!
You found the correct products for the coupons (the trial sizes).
If I go to Target for any of the matchups I usually wait to go down to the SuperTarget where they are way more friendly and allow you to do multiple transactions and adjust your coupons!
The policy varies from store to store. If you have another store in your area you may want to try that but I know that most of the time they place the locations where they are going to be at least 15-20 minutes away from the one closest to you! You won't be able to make your store budge on not adjusting the coupon...at least that is my experience!
