Publix Weekly Sale with match ups: 10/21 - 10/27

Publix Weekly Matchups

For the week of 10/21 - 10/27

Coupon Tips To Remember:

Publix DOES NOT have a corporate coupon policy. Each store is given the authority to make their own policies as they see fit. Below are some general rules that you should be able to follow at every store. Remember to check with your local stores customer service desk first to make sure!
  • Publix Doubles manufacturer coupons up to and including $.50 (FL and some GA coastal stores accept coupons at face value ONLY!) (i.e. a $.50 coupon is doubled to $1)
  • You do not have to purchase both items in a Buy One Get One Free Sale in order to receive the discount. Each item will ring up at half price. (FL stores have to purchase both items to receive the second one free. The first item rings up at full price and the second one rings up as $0.00.)
  • You can use 2 coupons when you buy 2 of the BOGO sale items
  • Publix periodically releases coupons of their own. A Publix coupon will start with the letters L.U. followed by numbers.
  • Publix coupons are taken at face value ONLY.
  • Many Publix stores accept competitor coupons. Each store will vary in the competitors that they accept. Please check with your stores customer service desk to see who they consider as their competitor stores.
  • Competitor Coupons are taken at face value ONLY.
  • You can use 1 Publix coupon per item purchased.
  • You can use 1 manufacturer coupon per item purchased.
  • You can use 1 competitor coupon per item purchased
  • Publix allows you to stack coupons. They will allow you to use 1 Publix OR Competitor coupon together on one product. (i.e. Kellogg's cereal is on sale for $1.99. Let's say that there is a $1/2 manufacturer coupon and a $1/1 Target coupon available for both products. You would buy 2 for $3.98, use the $1/2 manufacture coupon and 2 of the $1/1 Target coupons (for a total of $3 off of 2 boxes) and get both of them for $.98!)
  • Some Publix stores allow overages on manufacturer coupons. i.e. If you have a coupon for $1 off of a product and the product itself only costs $.89 you will receive $.11 in overage to apply to your remaining order. Please note that Publix will not give you cash back on an order. You must purchase something to cover the overages in your order.
Warner Robins, GA: Our 2 local Publix stores accept the following stores as competitors...Food Lion, Target, Kroger, Winn Dixie, Kmart, Walgreen's, CVS, and Rite Aid. You may use only 1 of the $/$$ coupons ($5/$25 from CVS etc) per transaction. You may stack any of these competitor coupons with manufacturer coupons. If you want to purchase more than 10 of a particular item please place a special order by Thursday to ensure that the products come in while the sale is going on. If you have any other questions about our local stores please email me and I will get back with you as soon as I can!

My cashier kept wanting to enter just one of the products prices at $2.99. After trying to explain to them that $5.96 should be taken off (for both products because the coupon stated "off of 2") and them being confused I just told them that it was ok...I had them take the items off of my order and hand me the coupons back (no big deal).

is there a way to print this infor to ready my list for publix?

I am working on incorporating a print function but for now you should be able to copy and paste the text into a word document or your notepad.

I hope this helps and I will let everyone know when I have the print option available!

I frequent the Publix on 96 in Warner Robins, Ga. and they don't except competitor coupons from target and rite aid. They say that they have to be within a certain distance for them to be a "competitor".

Hi Bethany,

Sorry it took a minute to respond but I did want to let you know that my second trip this week was at the store on 96. I didn't have any Target coupons that I was using but when I walked in the door I asked customer service if they accepted the $5/$25 Rite Aid coupons and the girl immediately said yes without hesitating. Once I checked out the cashier didn't even give it a second glance. He just thoroughly checked to make sure that all of my coupons matched the items that I was buying and took the $5/$25 off first. I know the store manager on Russell, we have spoken many times over the phone and in the store. I haven't had a chance to meet the one on 96 but I will make it a point this week if I can get over to that side of town. If not I will definitely call and speak to him/her!

Send me an email @ savingyourcents @ gmail . com and I will email you with my results.

I also have another friend that has been able to use all the drug store coupons and the Target coupons at that store...I think we have the common case of 10 different stories from 10 different people! It happens a lot at Publix...I'll try my best to help straighten it out!

Talk to you soon!
Lissa
