Walgreens Children's Activity Books On Clearance: Coupons included!

I went into Walgreens yesterday and found the Children's Activity books marked down to $.49 each (regular $.99).

I plan on using the books for the Fall Festival that we are having here at the house (along with tons of other trinkets and toys for the kiddos) BUT the other thing that made this purchase interesting were the coupons included in the books.

NOTE: Make sure you pick up the books with the coupons that expire in 2010. They books with the 09' coupons were also on clearance!

Here are the coupons included...ALL coupons expired on March 30, 2010!

$2/1 Neosporin (ointment, cream or spray)
$2/1 Band-Aid Adhesive Bandages (20 or 25ct)
$1/1 Children's Benadryl
$1/1 Flavored Tylenol
$5/1 Braun ThermoScan (ear thermometer)
$1/1 Huggies Diapers or Training Pants
$1/1 Gerber Tooth & Gum Cleaner
$1/1 Zooth OR Oral B Stages Toothbrushes (P&G
$1/1 Listerine Smart Rinse OR Agent Cool Blue
$2/1 L'il Critters Gummy Vites
$.50/1 Children's Allergy Relief (Walgreens brand)
$.50/1 Children's Ibuprofen 100 (Walgreens brand)
$1/1 Crayola Color Explosion or Color Wonder

Tip: If your Publix accepts Walgreens as a competitor you can stack any of these coupons with manufacturer coupons to save even more!

These are the coupons that stood out for me as a potentially great deal...

$1/1 Zooth/Oral B Stages Toothbrush: P&G will usually put out a $1/1 or BOGO coupon for these toothbrushes. I checked the coupon database and I don't think there is one out for this month (correct me if I am wrong) but be sure to check November's P&G insert. Stacking both of these coupons alone could yield cheap toothbrushes but if you wait for a sale (Say $1 or $1.50 for the item) then you should be able to score some for free!

$2/1 Band-Aid Coupon: Price check please (if you know how much Walgreens charges for the 20-25 ct boxes let us know. More than likely they are around $3.99 or so. A few weeks ago I found another blinkie machine at Kroger with the $3/2 Band-Aid coupons in it. Let's say that they are $3.99 per box at Publix and I buy 2 boxes at $3.99, use 2 - $2/1 Walgreens coupons with the $3/2 manufacturer coupon then I would only pay $1 for both boxes! If I were smart I would wait for a great sale right!

$1/1 Huggies Diapers: We always have tons of diaper coupons to choose from so I will wait for a sale ($8.99) and use this coupon with a $2 or higher coupon to get a good deal! Who knows maybe we will get a register reward deal on these!

If you see any other great deals that might go along with these coupons let us know!
