Welcome to Saving Your Cents Live Chat
I will be testing this software for possible future permanent use on our site! Depending on how the software works and the nature of the content discussed I am hoping to implement this chat permanently for like-minded users to share information on bargain hunting, coupon use, and any other money saving topic! Testing will take place for a 2 week period starting on 11/30 and end on 12/14. At the end of the trial I will ultimately make the decision to either keep it, delete it, or to try another software program.
How it works:
First you have to register to be able to log in to view and join the chat. If you scroll down to the bottom of the chat box you should see the link to sign up. Once you have registered you can log in and out using the chat box itself each time you visit SavingYourCents.
The live chat is not available to be viewed publicly. Only registered users who are logged in will be able to see the content. I chose to set it up this way for those that wished to discuss coupon trades with the chatroom.
The best option that I see for this software is to click on the popout icon in the bottom right hand corner of the chat box to create a separate window for the live chat. This will allow you to continue searching SavingYourCents or any other website.

Moderators Needed:
I am currently looking to start out with 10 moderators who would like to help keep our live chat nice and neat! The main duties of each moderator would be to keep the chats family friendly while logged in. If you would like to be a moderator please register and email me with your user id. I will send more information to those interested! More moderators will be added and more readers subscribe!

Rules:
1. No profanity or behavior of the likes. This will result in a blocked user id. I have the option to pull your account by your computers ID (IP address) so changing user names to get back in won't work.
2. Please keep personal affairs out of the chat room. We are all here for one thing...to talk to each other and share the knowledge about saving money and finding deals. I would not suggest that you speak of your family or any other personal information that you do not wish to be publicly viewed.
If those 2 rules are followed this should be a hit...keepin' it simple for now!
