Just thought I would share!

I just thought I would share a few photos with you today of my tree! We had to go with a smaller tree this year but I still managed to put almost all of my ornaments on it! I have a "mix n' match" tree. I love having white lights, red bead garland, and a collection of ornaments that don't match. Once it's all put together (to me) it's one of the most beautiful trees you can have!

One of the traditions that we have is to add a new ornaments to the tree each year! Sometimes I buy them new and sometimes I find them in a thrift store! This tree is a display of my families history. From my very first ornament (when I was born) to my daughter's first ornament (when she was born) and everything in between! The cats even get their own ornament each year!

The tree has been tested but has stood strong! My youngest cat has knocked a few ornaments off (tip: I have always had cats and always made sure that I had a path through the presents and a bed under the tree. They love to sleep under there. I try to prevent catastrophe when I can!) and my 16 month old nephew is just amazed (and has to touch everything) when he comes over. He is hilarious. As soon as he walks into the living room he runs over to the tree and sees how many ornaments he can touch (literally) before we pick him up (telling him no doesn't work).
