Help Support A Great Cause In Cartersville...Yard Sale

I had the honor of speaking to our local MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group here in town last week! They were a wonderful group! I want to thank Katy for setting all of this up for us! She was so enthusiastic about the idea of her group talking about coupons and I loved it!

I found out that they were holding a yard sale this weekend in Cartersville to benefit their group and wanted to help promote a great cause!

Here are the details...



SATURDAY April 25th, 7 am - 2 pm HUGE Fundrasing Yard Sale at Rowland Springs Baptist Chruch. Something for all ages. Clothing for $1, Bargins galore! Located in the rear parking lot of the church, 79 Rowland Springs Road, Cartersville 30121. On Hwy 20 (exit 290 off I-75) go East about 1.5 miles turn right on Rowland Springs Rd. and the church will be on your left. Yard Sale supports MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) in Cartersville. There will also be bake sale items, new handmade bookmarks ($3 each) great for Mother's Day and for Teachers, as well as our groups cookbook for sale ($5 each).

I will be there bright and early...we may run into each other! See you there!

41N to Left on Main Street.
Follow Main Street/Hwy113 through Cartersville heading West.
Turn Left at Douthit Ferry Road Intersection (McDonalds and old Skating Center are at this intersection).
Left on Old Alabama Road (2nd Red Light intersection).
River Shoals will be one mile on the Left on Old Alabama Road.
11 River Shoals Drive is address of clubhouse, it is first thing you come to in the neighborhood on the right.

Please Note: Due to the limited seating we ask for you not to bring children with you to the class.

I also still have seats available for my in-home classes if you are not able to make this class.

Coupon Class A Great Hit!

I wanted to thank everyone for coming out to my home this past Saturday!

It was a real pleasure having you here!

This group was the first class of many that I will be teaching from my home. I enjoy having company and feel much more comfortable holding the classes here with everything at my disposal!

Coupon Class A Great Hit!

Thanks to Lorraine Stallings (a new found friend) for having me come out to her church this past Saturday for a coupon class! I was so excited to see so many people show up to learn more about coupons!

It was really good to see everyone willing to help others! We had many who offered information during the class that also helped out!

I wanted to share some pictures with everyone! We had a really great time and everyone made me feel very welcome!

Lorraine contacted me a few weeks ago about the my class offerings. She is very knowledgeable about coupon use herself! She has been able to help out those close to her but wanted to share this information with others. She is a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Smyrna and they have just recently started their own food bank to help the community!

A Thanks To My Coupon Class Today!

I met Linda at our local coupon club here in town! Linda attended a "field trip" that I offered back in January (to Publix). She is a pretty fast learner (in the use of coupons) and wanted to share this information with her friends and family!

She asked me to come over to teach one of my classes and we met yesterday for a couple of hours at her church!

Not only does Linda want others to know how to save money by using coupons but she also wants to be able to help stock her church's food pantry! She's already started adding items to their pantry at little or no cost and soon it will be overflowing with her contributions along with others in the congregation!

GREAT JOB!

We are working on creating a site that allows everyone across the nation to network and find the information that they need!

If you can answer yes to any of the following questions please contact me...

• Do you teach coupon classes?
• Have you thought about starting to teach coupon classes?
• Do you know someone that does teach coupon classes?
• Does the area that you live in have a coupon club?
• Does your area (church, ladies group, etc) offer any type of coupon support (coupon swaps/trains/etc)?
• Is there another blog that advertises coupon classes taught by them?

There are so many people who contact me on a weekly basis asking if I can teach in their area but most are just too far away. The purpose of this new site will be for coupon teachers or clubs to advertise their information for free so that we may reach individuals who want to learn and are looking for help and support in your area!

The ultimate goal is to try and help as many people as we possibly can and create a nationwide networking opportunity!

I need information from people all over the U.S. to compile a list of resources for everyone!

Announcements: Now Offering In-Home Coupon Classes

I will be temporarily canceling all future group class offerings. I will continue my motivational guest speaking services (described below). I am only taking one-on-one family classes only!

Group Classes will not resume until August 2009.

Motivational Guest Speaking Services are available in 30 minute to 1 hour sessions. If you are teaching a class of your own I will be more than happy to come and share my experiences with you to help guide your attendees to higher savings. This service is great for local clubs meeting on coupon use! If you are interested in having me come out...let me know!

One-On-One Family classes are offered in your home or mine! We will go over the basics of couponing and I will taylor a specific savings plan to your individual needs! Please contact me for more details!
