I was actually scheduled to sit with Valerie this past Sunday live on her new weekend savings show but we had to go out of town on an emergency and I had to cancel!

Saving Your Cents "Coupon Organization" Segment On 11 Alive

When Valerie Hoff, from 11 Alive, came out last week for my interview we talked about frugal ways to save on Valentine's day along with my stockpile and coupon organization methods.

Valerie did a wonderful job of showing her viewers various methods of coupon organization.

It was an honor for me to be able to be the commentary voice on this segment and I hope that many of you will find the information useful if you are just starting out or are looking to change your current coupon organization method!

This is the method that is suggested by Stephanie Nelson's "The Coupon Mom" website and has worked wonders for many. This method saves you the most time when clipping coupons. You don't clip them until you need to use them and some find that this is the easiest way!

Monica Burge, a newspaper editor (and newly found friend) from the Bartow Neighbor Newspaper, came out for an interview with me last week!

Saving Your Cents Was Featured On 11 Alive!

Valerie Hoff is 11 Alive's weekend anchor.

11 Alive offers a "Money Savings" series everday at 6am and 11pm. Valerie has a Freebies series that airs each Friday evening and a VALues Coupon Blog on 11 Alive's website!

Each day a variety of topics are discussed. You will find a lot of great information on the news itself along with articles and videos on her blog! Be sure to check it out!

Valerie and I spoke over the phone today and I found out that we share a passion for using coupons. She explained to me that one day she had spent over $100 at Publix and only paid $10. After her co-workers saw her do this they knew that this was something they wanted to share with their viewers. She is a wonderful person and wants to offer her knowledge on savings (as do I)!

I was extremely excited to find out that she featured my site along with my article on the free Woman's Day Magazine subscription.

I am excited to announce that my local paper has asked if they could write an article on me and my savings methods!

They will be coming out to my home today for the interview!
