Ingles is always the last store I go in each week! It is my catch-all store! I have a list of items that I need for the week, which is usually very small like milk eggs bread etc. I look for the best price on these items when I head out and usually when I need them...they aren't on sale. Ingles has a pretty good deal on their "staple" products so I usually end up getting them here instead of the other stores. Sometimes I still "impulse shop". I usually stick with about 40-50% off of my grocery bills here...not like the 75-100% I do at Kroger and Publix on a weekly basis!
Like today...I bought a big multi-pack of vienna sausages (Yuk!). My husband will eat them from time-to-time and I normally don't buy them. He had me pick up a can from the convenience store the other day (YIPES!) and they were .90 per can! I picked these up, an 8-pack on sale for $2.50ish, and will occasionally add them to the snack cabinet (so he doesn't eat them all at one time! lol) to prevent either one of us from paying .90 again for just one can!
Here is what I bought!
