SavingYourCents : IT'S Official! OUR LOCAL KMART WILL HONOR DOUBLE COUPONS!

I called the customer service line this morning and the rep told me that they did, in fact, have an email that was sent out to all Store Mangager's Nation Wide.

Those store who were not included in the list of participating stores were told, in an email, to honor a customer's request to double their coupons up to and including the $2.

After I spoke with customer service I called our local store and asked for Kerri...our store manager. He told me that as of right now they were waiting for approval from the corporate office to make sure that they could honor the program. I immediately called customer service back and spoke with a gentleman that called Kerri for me while I was on hold (the most nicest guy in the world!). Kerri asked him to send over the instructions on how to manually put in the double coupons...and voila! My rep sent it to him while I was on the phone (Hooray for awesome CS!).

Now...all we have to do is give them some time to show the cashiers how to manually enter the coupons and WE ARE SET!

With a little kind and friendly "push" to get things rolling...we now can double the coupons here in town!

Here is part of the email that was sent by corporate on what you can use and how you can use it!

Dear XXX,

We have listed the details of the requested promotion below.

Amount of credit from [doubling or tripling] a coupon cannot exceed the retail price of an item.
No cash or in-store purchase credit will be awarded for any amount exceeding the retail price of the item.
Limit 1 coupon for each item purchased.
Only 1 coupon will be [doubled or tripled] per item.
You may only purchase 4 of the same item using double coupons.
Coupons do not apply to sales tax.
Limit 75 coupons per customer per day. (OCTOBER 1st-5th)
Internet coupons or copies of manufacturer instant coupons are not valid.
Offer excludes products prohibited by law, including but not limited to alcohol, tobacco, and prescription medication.
Not valid on non-merchandise, federal or state regulated items, prior purchases, Lands’ End, Sears merchandise rung on Sears registers within Kmart and Kmart.com.
In the event of a return, coupon savings may be deducted from refund.
Sears Holdings (Kmart) reserves the right to modify or cancel this program at any time.
