Price: .33 each

2 pks of Bologna (my husbands guilty pleasure!) @ $3.19 each (Advertised for $1 each)

Note: I just caught an error on my receipt. The bologna was advertised for $1 each. I called the store and asked for manager and let them know what happened. I wrote the manager's name down and tomorrow I plan to stop by tomorrow to get my refund. This incident will fall under the "scan right" policy that Kroger has. It states that any item advertised for one price but charged as another will be free! I will receive $3.19 back for the first pack and $2.19 back for the second pack! They will only give you the first one free... if you buy more than one of that particular item they will refund you the difference.

Sometimes you will run into a situation where there is only a few cents difference on your receipt. In that case, I normally don't make a fuss about it and let it slide. In this case, the total I will get back is $5.19 plus tax which is a lot of money to me when it comes to my grocery budget! We all know how far we can stretch $5! I try to make a habit of checking my receipts over before I leave the stores to catch any discrepancies! This makes it easier!

Lissa,
One big disadvantage I have is that the only grocery around is Kroger!! I have no Ingles, nor Publix!! I used to live in Athens, GA! (Go Dawgs!!)and was able to shop at both of those. Only Kroger here though, and Sav a Lot, which don't even take coupons!!! The ONLY other grocery is Meijers...they do have alot of deals, but I would have to drive 45 minutes to go. :(

I am going on my first CVS run tomorrow and wanted to run this by you to see if it's the best way to get it all:

Transaction #1
2 Throat Cooler Pops (BOG1) (10 ecbs)
3 CVS Paper Towels
* Use a $3/CVS coupon on towels and earn 10 ecb's.
Total price...$4.99 plus tax

Transaction #2
3 CVS Paper Towels
2 packs CVS supreme diapers (2/$12.99)
Pledge (I have $1 coupon) (1 ecb)
Altoids BOG1 ---I thought I saw where there is a peelie coupon making it free...true?
**I have 3 more of the $3/CVS coupons to use on towels and diapers.
Total---$10.67
I can use my ecb's from first purchase and the one from Plede to leave me with a little overage.
I'm on a tight budget, so I'm taking advantage of ecb's.
So, pay around $5.38 for ALL this.

What do you think?

Thanks!!
