I was just thinking of using the Rite-Aid coupon at my Publix! I don't know why I hadn't thought of it before--there is a Rite Aid in the same shopping center as my Publix. Do they give you any trouble? Do you present it before other coupons?

Any idea why the same items would be on a lesser clearance at other stores. They had the Gum toothbrushes at my store also but they were 50% off not 75. Just wondering...

I noticed in the run-down of your Publix shopping trip that you mentioned getting a refund for your Nestle cookie dough and Frosted Mini-Wheats. I knew about the recall of the cookie dough, but haven't heard anything about Frosted Mini-Wheats (and I have quite a few boxes from the recent sale!). Are those being recalled? Thank you!

Lisa,
I always hand the Rite Aid Coupon over on top of everything else but I have had them take it off first or last. It always varies but they have always still taken it off! My store has always taken this coupon as long as it's not expired!

Anon,
I'm not sure of that one! I have seen it happen in the different CVS stores and even in different Kmart's. You would think that it's a corporate mark down but I guess it's not! You may want to have them scan the items just to check. I have also noticed that some things just aren't marked!

Amy,
The mini wheats HAVE NOT been recalled. Sorry for the confusion. I accidentally purchase 2 of the bigger boxes and was charged $3.99 each for them. I simply just returned those because I didn't want to pay full price for the items. They were $2.99 instead of the BOGO boxes being $.99 (a $2 difference is enough for me to exchange or refund them on my next trip!)

Thanks for writing, Lissa

Angel,

Thank you for your comment. It took a lot of research and hard work. I have even been honored to be a part of my local store managers decision on their coupon policy (as a consultant). I post my weekly shopping trips in hopes that other families are able to see how I shop and apply that to their shopping trips!

Thank you so much for sharing your appreciation!

Lissa
