Target Accepts Competitor Prices: Low Price Promise

Barbara sent me an email today informing me that, as of July 12th, ALL Target stores are now accepting competitors pricing (COMP).

Looks like they are competing with Walmart this time around! Walmart has always accepted competitor pricing as long as I can remember and it's great to hear that Target is finally joining in!

The press release states that they will price match advertised prices on an identical item (same brand/model number/etc).

I am pretty sure that they will accept Walmart as a competitor. Since some stores are Super Targets and some are not the competitors may vary upon location and type of store! Be sure to contact your local Target to see which stores they will accept as their competitors!

You can view the press release article here!

Thanks Barbara! This is great news!

Note: The article states that checkers will not adjust the price in the check out line. Rather they will ring it up at the regular price then send you to customer service for a price adjustment. Still great that they will price match, but plan some extra time to visit customer service.
