The mysterious "Marking" monster!

I wanted to share a funny story with you!

My daughter (who is 7 now!) never really went through the "I have to write all over the wall" stage. She was more of a tape kid. Meaning that she would put tape on anything around the house! When she was 3 she even attempted to place tape around our cats tail!

One day last week I walk into my bedroom and see the scenes from above. I called my daughter in the room and asked her what happened.

In an extremely serious manner she proceeded to tell me that one of her friends at school said that there was a monster called the "Marking Monster" and she guessed that he had visited our house! (Where do they come up with this stuff? It's hilarious! If you had only been there!)

I stumped her when I asked why the monster seemed to have been trying to write "Kaylee" all over the walls and then tried to erase them (luckily it was pencil...not so lucky with the blue marker!). She just looked up at me with those big brown eyes and was speechless!

This one goes out to all of the moms, grandmothers, aunts, and anyone else who has been struck by the "Marking" monster! If he hasn't come yet...he will come...one day!

Cloud Watching...Free entertainment for the whole family!

One of my favorite past times is cloud watching! I love sitting with my family outside while we look up to create images out of the clouds that we see. My daughter loves doing this...she gets so tickled when we see silly things (like the snobby poodle below)!

Can you remember the last time you were a cloud watcher? Next time clouds are out...go outside and see what you can find! Their is something truly relaxing about cloud watching! I really do enjoy it!

OK, my brother says that he doesn't see it, but I think that it was because I was interrupting his movie to show him the pictures I had just taken!

This one looks like a mans face (side view) on the left and directly out in front of what would be his mouth is a bat (you can even see his little ears (side view of a bat flying).

I thought that this was pretty cool because I didn't see the image until I loaded it on the computer...I was just shooting pictures!

If you get really creative...this one looks like a baby getting ready to put its thumb in its mouth...do you see it?

Cat Lover's Unite! Silly Pictures Of A Long Lost Relative!

As you all know...I am a true cat lover...it runs in my entire family! My cousin in Oklahoma recently acquired a pure bread Bangel, named Sarg. She shared these pictures with me...and I just had to share them with you!

In the midst of a basement room overhaul I had to take everything off of the shelves to move them. My sister-in-law was here to lend a hand! The toilet paper ended up in a pile on the floor and an idea popped into my head!

My daughter would be home from school in about 10 minutes and how awesome would it be to create a castle tower for her?

We were able to get her in without knocking anything over but when she tried to stand up the tower came a' tumblin' down!

I think she enjoy this even more than the castle as a whole! Kind of Like a big pile of leaves!

Then a thought occurred to me...I didn't want to leave my nephew out...so we created him a castle fit for a king!

Not just a castle but his very own "Playpen" complete with toys and pillows!

We are working on helping him raise his head to build his neck muscles and what better way to do this than to use an extra thick pack of Cottonelle with Aloe!

He enjoyed it!

Be advised that children shouldn't be left alone...the toilet paper monster will get them and take them to "Toilet Paper Land".

We were putting the baby back into the bouncy when...my daughter decided to make a "Toilet Paper Angel"!

This just goes to show what creative ideas you can come up with that will create everlasting memories for you and your child/children! (She's gotta remember this one later down the road!)
