Swagbucks: New Accounts Receive 70 Swagbucks Just For Signing Up!

Search & Win

If you have been considering signing up for Swagbucks you can go here to sign up and start earning with Swagbucks. Usually they only offer a 30 SwagBuck bonus for new users but if you use the code "BackToSchool" you'll get the 70 instead!
Some tips for earning daily swagbucks:
  • Click on Daily polls (once per day), vote, and earn 1 point!
  • Click on Trusted Surveys and before you even have to do anything else you automatically win 1 point!
  • Click on Special Offers and answer no, skip, or see next offer a few times to earn 1 point!
  • Search: You can search and earn swagbucks twice per day! My daily routine includes searching once in the morning and once in the evening! You can earn anywhere from 1-50 points per day and on Fridays you can earn hundres of points at a time during their Friday Mega Swagbucks event!
  • Use the toolbar: Download the toolbar to have swagbucks right at your fingertips! I use the toolbar because it makes it easier to search each time instead of typing the site in manually!

Good Luck!

I have earned thousands of points over the last few years. You can redeem them for anything you want in their swag store but I personally redeem them for Amazon gift cards! I have purchased toner and drums for my laser printer, a wireless card for my desktop, books, dvds, and am currently saving up my Amazon money to purchase a laptop as a present for my daughter! Nothing beats FREE! I Love It!

I would love to hear what great things you have purchased with your swagbucks! Leave us a comment and let us know!

$10 worth of food for free at Schwan's!

Be one of the first 500,000 customers on August the first to go to www.schwans.com/FREE (I will send out a reminder at midnight on Friday to help you remember) will receive a $10 credit on their account.

Please Note: If you do not live on a Schwan's delivery route or if you have ordered from them in the past 14 weeks you will not qualify for this deal!

I did the free $5 deal back in June so I don't qualify for this one :( but if you do qualify there are many things on the menu that fall into the $10 realm. When I did the deal I ordered the 3 loaves of bread priced at $4.99 and it still allow me to use the $5 off.

You do have to pay a $1 delivery fee that will be due at the time that they bring the order to you.

I was weary about pushy salesmen but I was very impressed with the service. When they came to the door there were 2 men. One introduced himself as the manager and the other a deliverer. They gave me a catalog of the upcoming deals and went over some of the current promotions with me (all of 5 minutes worth of my time). They asked if anything interested me at the time and I told them that I ordered from them to try out the service.

They will schedule meetings with you for every 2 weeks or once per month. I asked if I could be on the once per month meeting and they were happy to agree! They came out at the end of July and brought me the new deals for this month and a preview of the following month. I didn't order anything and again it took all of 5 minutes of my time. I asked them not to come back for August and they agreed not to do so (I explained that we could be out of the house by then).

My pushy salesmen fears were pushed aside. Of course, when they deliver your order the first time you can simply tell them that you would rather not have home sales calls and they will do as you ask! Let them know that you would rather order online that way you can think about your purchase before you actually make it!

Overall this is a great deal for you to take advantage of!

I have included some links for you to see some of the great buys you can get with this deal!

Breaded Chicken Patties
: 12 patties $10.49 (you will pay $1.49 for this)
Chicken nuggets: 2 lb bag serves 11 ($1 delivery fee)
Steak: 8 - 2 oz steaks ($1 delivery fee) (This would be my pick!)
8 Quarter lb hamburger patties ($1 delivery fee) (It would be hard to decide between this a the steak!)

Remember that you can order anything on the site as long as it total $9.99 or more (you can combine to of the $5.49 or $4.99 deals, etc)!

Thanks Crystal!

Staples Back To School Deals

This is the second week of Staples "Back To School" Deals. Be sure to read below to find out what you can get for free this week!

Staples has 2 types of Rewards Programs.
  • Regular Customer Rewards: Read details here.
  • Teacher Rewards: Read details here.
When staples runs back to school promos you are limited to the number of the same product that you can purchase. The number limit in the current weekly ad applies to all regular rewards members. If you are a teacher your limit will be 25 on all items. This only applies to "Sale Price" items. You will NOT receive more limits to the rebate items.

Once you sign up for a rewards account you will receive a few emails from them each month. Occasionally you will receive coupons and promo codes as they release them. You are notified of upcoming sales in advance.

The "Rewards Program" pays out quarterly (4 times per year). When you receive your quarterly rewards check you can redeem it for anything in the store.

The "Easy Rebate" program pays out upon receipt. If you submit a receipt either online or via mail then it usually takes about 2-6 weeks to receive the rebate check. This check can be used in the store OR cashed at your bank. (Mine have usually averaged on the 3 week mark).

REMEMBER: You can turn in empty ink cartridges (up to 10 per month) for a $3 Reward Credit of $3 each. For example, if you turn in 5 ink cartridges in one quarter you will receive an additional $15 added into your rewards check. (They use to give you cash in the past but people were coming in with tons of ink cartridges per week so they had to start putting limitations on them!)

Total OOP: $22.97 plus tax

Have you been thinking about joining Costco?

Costco is offering a great deal right now for new members.

If you join you will receive coupons for...

A Free Rotisserie Chicken

Free Photo Processing

A Free 2lb bag of Kirkland Signature Coffee

and more!

If you have been thinking about joining now is the time! You can go here for the details!

Honestly, I do not have a membership to any of the warehouse companies such as Costco. I have been asked multiple times if the deals are worth having a membership and each time I say that it is going to be based on your family.

My husband and I had a membership to The Sams Club about 6 years ago (before my couponing era) and I can tell you that we never came out of the store spending less than $300.

In my research the cost per unit prices on most of their products are actually much higher than what I can buy on sale with a coupon in my local stores! Between CVS, Rite Aid, Kroger, Publix, and Ingles I have been able to keep my costs at a constant 84% savings for 2009. I know that I would not be able to do this at a store like this!

Many of you have memberships and are very disciplined when shopping (you have to be not to spend $300 per trip). Many of you have sent emails with information on what you buy there and the trend seems to be that things such as flour, sugar, yeast, etc are the main items you purchase!

Many of the individuals that I personally know say that their cost per unit prices are better than local stores. Of course this is without coupons, so for those that don't use coupons I can see where these products would be a great deal!

It is hard for me to steer away from paying .80 for a box of cereal and free toilet paper. Those prices can't be beat anywhere! :)

If you have any other great buys from stores like this please leave a comment and share them with us! I would love to hear what items you regularly purchase from wholesale stores!

Announcing:

The "Savin' O The Green" eBook Offer

(Offer Valid from March 17th - March 23rd only!)

I wanted to take this opportunity to share this great offer from our friends over at MoneySavingMom.com and LivingOnADime.com. Many of you are familiar with Crystal, Tawra and Jill's money saving, get-out-of-debt, frugal living and homemaking tips.

Due to the recent rise in the price of groceries, they have decided to team up to offer you their two grocery savings e-courses along with 15 free bonus eBooks.

Even better, they are offering this "Savin' O The Green" 17 e-book package to our readers for $17. If you were to buy these eBooks at regular price you would pay $115.40 for all of them...quite a substantial discount and worth every penny!

I personally have purchased many of these eBooks this past summer and had the pleasure of reading them. Each book is extremely detailed in the topic that it covers. I highly recommend all of these books for the beginner, intermediate, and advanced coupon user and for anyone else that may be interested in the subjects that are covered!

You will receive so much useful information and an extremely great price to top it off! I am honored that they contacted me and especially grateful that I am able to share this awesome deal with you! You won't see another deal like this in the future!

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Tip: If you have never purchased an eBook before...it is really quite simple!

Once you purchase the eBooks you will have access to the links for each book. Once you click on the link and download it you will not have access to that particular link again (it's how they protect reproduction of the eBook). You will want to make sure that you have the correct program before purchasing to ensure that everything downloads smoothly!

The eBooks are downloaded in a PDF form using Adobe Reader! If you do not have the Adobe program (Adobe comes already installed on your computer but some of you may have removed the program) you can download it for free here! This link is automatically set up for Windows XP but if you have a different Operating System make sure you click on the link under the download button to change to file that you will be downloading!

If you are not sure whether or not you have the reader...just simply follow these simple directions to verify whether or not it is installed on your computer!

For Windows XP: Click on your start menu. Click on "All Programs". Once this window pops up you should see (in alphabetical order) the word "Adobe" and a number next to it for the version that you have. These eBooks will download under any version!

Note: Their is an option to order these books in the paper version if you would like a hard copy! You will see this information at the bottom of the ordering page!
